Don’t miss out! Discounted Early Bird Registration for the Federation of Genealogical Societies 2017 Conference “Bridges to the Past” ends Saturday, July 1, 2017.
I am looking forward to presenting my preservation workshop “Caring for Keepsakes” on Thursday, and a new lecture for Society Day “Hosting a Society Heirloom Roadshow or Preservation Workshop” on Wednesday.
Although I’ve been through Pittsburgh en route to the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP) held at nearby LaRoche College, I’ve never seen the city sights. I’m looking forward seeing another view of this great town on the Gateway Clipper Dinner Cruise and hope to find some fellow genealogists at one of the weekend baseball games at PNC Park.
National genealogy conferences like the FGS annual event are a highlight of my year. I get a chance to meet researchers from throughout the world and recharge my own genealogy batteries.
I hope to see you in Pittsburgh for FGS 2017 “Bridges to the Past.” Register soon and take advantage of the Early Bird Conference pricing.
