When in Maine — eat lobster. Drove out to Two Lights to view the lighthouses and, most importantly, try the Lobster Shack lobster rolls. A split bun bursting with fresh picked meat. Serious competition for yesterday's lunch washed down with a splash of bubbly.
Too bad I don't know about any Maine ancestors… yet.
I did have an ancestor in Maine at least briefly. There is also an undocumented source that states that that another of my ancestors was born in Maine. It was a family source that made the claim, but most other sources state she was born in Western Massachusetts and I have no proof either way.
I enjoyed the lobster rolls very much when I was in New England this summer!
