What a wonderful idea. I too am the family historian so items come my way from every branch of the family. I surely could use something like this. Can't wait to hear your other ideas for saving the family keepsakes!

Got my book yesterday! Getting some wonderful ideas but haven't decided if I am a collector, curator, or creator.

I highly recommend this book – I am the one in the family that gets everyone's 'stuff'. This has been quite helpful and insightful, while not preaching at what you should or should not keep. Gives you a lot to think about and help you decide what to keep and what to let go.
