It’s obvious I need to get find more obscure archives! Yes, the National Archives are AWEsome. And yes, NARA’s indexes are more complete than any online versions I have found. How can that be? I don’t know… but there was Henry M. Winsor just waiting for me in the invalid pension files.
Who knows what adventure awaits tomorrow!
