Regina,
Thanks for catching that typo; the corrected calendar is now available for download. No matter how many times I proofread, I seem to miss the most obvious.
I am glad to know that you like the ideas and look forward to reading your posts.

Denise,
Was just going over the April 2010 Edition of The Genealogy & Family History Bloggers Almanac. On April 12 you wrote: "the Civil War opened with shots fired on Fort Sumpter". You know it’s SUMTER, right?
Love the Almanac! Thanks for putting together all these great ideas!!
Family Curator says
No worries! I am new at contests and hope the directions are clear. All you have to do is write something on your blog that is inspired by one of the April Blogger’s Almanac ideas… and then link to it on the Contest page. If you don’t h ave a blog, you can just cut and paste something you have written about an ancestor on a Blogger’s Almanac topic. Full guidelines are available at http://thefamilycurator.com/bloggers-almanac-contest
Feel free to write again if this isn’t clear.
Happy blogging! – Denise, The Family Curator

You probably wonder how I manage to write a blog without lots of typos! I’m terrible at proofreading and obviously didn’t reread my previous comment before posting it. Should be Roots Magic.

I’d love to win a copy of Roots Mage 4 but I can’t seem to figure out what the rules are to enter the contest. I’ve clicked several links but the details don’t seem to be there. What am I missing?
I enjoy your blog and love your almanac. Thanks for making it available for us.
